Alexandria Randolph/StaffWendy Armour and her five children, Malachi, Honor, Emmanuel, Majesty and Makaila, left to right, were surprised by the gracious gift of strangers earlier this month.
A Horseshoe Bay mother was taken aback by a gift from a stranger earlier this month.
Wendy Armour took her five children to H-E-B in Marble Falls with only $35 to spend on groceries.
When she got to the register, Armour realized she didn’t have enough money to purchase all of the items that her family picked out.
“I went in thinking, ‘Ok, only the basics,’” she said. “We had to put some of our items back.”
After leaving the store and heading to their car in the parking lot, a Marble Falls couple approached her family and offered to buy the rest of her groceries for her.
