Robert James “Pac” Pacharzina, 80, of Horseshoe Bay, Texas died January 23, 2014. He was born in Austin, Texas to Carl Alvin and Nelrose Krueger Pacharzina on June 18, 1933. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Flora Weiss Pacharzina; his children Linda “L’Jan” Pacharzina Powers (Graham), Deborah “D’Layne” Pacharzina Rhynsburger (Bob), and Robert Weston Pacharzina; his grandchildren Brieanna Rhynsburger Burke (Brian), Robert Blayne Rhysburger (Merrill), Graham Henderson Powers IV, Robert Weiss Powers, and Alyxandra Paige Powers; his great grandson, Bradley Brian Burke. He was predeceased by his siblings Carl Alvin Pacharzina, Jr, Ella Pacharzina Cheek, and August Frantz Pacharzina. Pac graduated from Austin High School. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his Masters of Education degree from Southwest Texas State University. He coached and taught at Tivy High School, New Braunfels Junior High School and New Braunfels High School. After retirement from teaching, he established The Plant Haus nurseries in New Braunfels, Kerrville, and Marble Falls with which he remained active until his death. Pac had a lifelong love of sports.
